Job description

We are actively seeking a full-time Real Estate Valuation Director who oversees the quarterly valuation process and reporting. This position will report directly to the Senior Director and the candidate should have a sound understanding of real estate valuations, preferably for industrial real estate. Our successful candidate will be a key member of the senior management team and will have other team members as direct reports.

Responsibilities Include
  • Lead the quarterly valuation process, managing and maintaining portfolio ARGUS Enterprise runs for quarterly reporting. This includes integrating market rent assumptions, leasing projections and operating budgets into cash flow projections. Prepare quarterly reports and analyze various scenarios.
  • Assist in maintaining sale and lease comparable databases for quarterly reports and company use.
  • Assist in the preparation of investment summaries, financial models and underwriting for potential investments and developments as needed.
  • Assist with special projects and other duties as needed.
  • Minimum 7+ years of commercial real estate, valuation and financial modeling experience.
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree from a four-year college or university, preferably in Real Estate or Finance.
  • CFA or MAI preferred.
  • ARGUS Enterprise expertise is required.
  • Experience in real estate analytics, underwriting and/or valuations.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or Alteryx preferred.
  • Individual must be a highly motivated self-starter with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and able to work effectively as a team leader.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, effectively manage time, meet deadlines while reporting milestones along the way, and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
