This position is based onsite at a reputable hospital in Moreno Valley, CA, which serves a diverse patient population. • Assist physical therapists in performing thorough evaluations to assess patients’ physical abilities and limitations.
• Implement treatment plans developed by physical therapists aimed at improving patients’ mobility, strength, balance, and overall functional capacity.
• Utilize hands-on manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises, alongside advanced modalities to manage and treat conditions related to the musculoskeletal and neurological systems.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists, ensuring a holistic approach to patient care.
• Provide education to patients and their families on home exercise programs, the use of adaptive equipment, and strategies for injury prevention.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of patient progress, treatment interventions, and discharge recommendations in alignment with regulatory guidelines and company policies.
• Engage in continuous professional development, staying current with best practices and seeking opportunities for advanced certifications that benefit both your career and our patients.

• Graduated from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Possess a valid California PTA license and an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Physical Therapy Assisting.
• Demonstrated strong clinical assessment skills and a patient-centered approach to care.
• Exhibit exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with both patients and the healthcare team.

• A minimum of one year of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant, preferably in an orthopedic setting.
• Experience working within a multidisciplinary healthcare team is a plus.
