UGC Content Creator (NY/LA based) - Freelance

Compensation: $1,000 - $4,000 / month
Description
Upway is looking for a UGC Content Creator to produce high-performing, authentic content that drives people to sell their e-Bike to Upway.
This is a hands-on, in-person role focused on creating content that feels real, relatable, and conversion-driven.
You will create content that answers one core question:
"Why should I sell my e-Bike to Upway?"
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation
  • Create short-form, high-performing UGC content (TikTok, Instagram Reels, paid ads)
  • Focus on content that drives supply: getting people to sell their e-Bike
  • Produce a consistent volume of content weekly
  • Turn real customer scenarios into simple, compelling videos

On-Site Content Production
  • Film regularly at our UpCenters:
    • New York (134 Morgan Ave, Brooklyn)
    • Los Angeles (2400 Marine Ave, Redondo Beach)

Concepting
  • Come up with new hooks, formats, and angles
  • Test different messaging (price, ease, speed, trust)
  • Quickly iterate based on performance

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Location (Non-negotiable)
  • Must live in New York or Los Angeles
  • Must be able to come on-site to our UpCenters:
    • 134 Morgan Ave, Brooklyn

UGC Native
  • At least over 3 years of experience in UGC creation in B2C environment
  • Deep understanding of TikTok / Reels content
  • Knows what makes people stop scrolling
  • Able to create content that feels native, not like ads
