SurgeonsLab is a global MedTech company developing high-fidelity surgical and interventional simulation platforms used by hospitals, surgeons, academic institutions, and medical device companies worldwide. We work at the intersection of medicine, engineering, and advanced simulation, supporting procedural training, validation, and clinical education.


Internship Overview

We are hiring a MedTech Sales Intern to join our onsite team in Prosper, Texas. This role is designed for candidates who want real exposure to medical device sales, clinical engagement, and B2B healthcare markets. This is not a shadowing role. Interns will actively support sales execution, demos, research, and sales operations—working closely with senior team members and leadership.


Key Responsibilities

Sales & Account Support

  • Support identification and research of hospitals, academic centers, and MedTech companies
  • Assist with lead qualification, account mapping, and CRM updates
  • Prepare outreach materials and follow-ups for active opportunities

Product & Demo Support

  • Learn SurgeonsLab’s simulation platforms, clinical use cases, and value propositions
  • Assist in preparing sales presentations, demos, and training materials
  • Support onsite or virtual demonstrations when required

Market & Customer Research

  • Research surgeons, clinicians, simulation labs, and decision-makers
  • Build structured target account and territory insights

Sales Operations

  • Maintain CRM hygiene and activity tracking
  • Support pipeline reporting and basic sales analytics
  • Assist with post-meeting summaries and internal coordination

Events & Exposure (as applicable)

  • Support preparation for conferences, workshops, and customer visits
  • Assist with lead follow-up and reporting after events


KPIs & Learning Milestones (6-Month Internship)


First 30 Days – Foundation

  • Complete product and clinical onboarding
  • Understand core sales messaging and compliance basics
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of CRM and sales workflows

60 Days – Execution

  • Independently research and qualify target accounts
  • Support live demos and sales calls
  • Maintain accurate CRM entries and reporting
  • Show clear understanding of customer personas and use cases

90 Days – Contribution

  • Actively contribute to pipeline development
  • Support multiple sales opportunities end-to-end
  • Deliver structured market and account insights
  • Demonstrate professionalism in clinical and customer-facing settings

6 Months – Readiness for Conversion

  • Consistently support revenue-generating activities
  • Demonstrate strong product understanding and communication skills
  • Show ownership, reliability, and learning velocity
  • Be evaluated for full-time MedTech Sales Executive role

Candidate Profile

Required

  • Student or recent graduate in Biomedical Engineering, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Healthcare Management, Business, Engineering, or related fields
  • Strong interest in medical devices, MedTech sales, or healthcare technology
  • Comfortable working onsite in Prosper, Texas
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
