MEDICAL DEVICE ASSEMBLER
Westford, MA | $21.50/Hour | 1st Shift | Monday–Thursday

Build products that make a difference. We are hiring Medical Device Assemblers in Westford, MA to join a manufacturing team producing high-quality cardiovascular medical devices. THE POSITION: has a Medical Device Assembler, you will work as part of a manufacturing cell assembling, inspecting, testing, and packaging cardiovascular medical devices and related components.


ABOUT:

This is precision manufacturing where attention to detail matters. Depending on the assigned work area, you may work in a controlled cleanroom environment and use microscopes, precision hand tools, syringes, adhesives, soldering equipment, and specialized manufacturing equipment. You will receive detailed work instructions and established procedures to ensure every device meets strict quality and safety standards.


WHAT YOU'LL DO Assemble cardiovascular medical devices and related components according to documented procedures. Perform detailed mechanical and electronic assembly. Perform casting and coating operations as required. Use microscopes and precision hand tools to assemble and inspect components. Use tools such as razors, syringes, soldering equipment, and adhesive bonding materials. Operate manufacturing equipment and computerized test equipment. Perform visual inspections and precision measurements. Test completed units to verify product performance and quality. Identify, repair, and correct devices or components using microscopes and applicable tools. Clean tools, equipment, and work areas according to documented procedures. Package finished medical devices while verifying all components and documentation are complete. Complete manufacturing records, travelers, shop floor paperwork, and quality documentation accurately. Maintain complete part traceability throughout the manufacturing process. Follow all safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment. Properly dispose of hazardous waste materials in designated areas. Participate in quality initiatives and continuous improvement activities. Work closely with team members to meet production, quality, and efficiency goals.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

High School Diploma or GED required. A copy of your High School Diploma or GED is required. Strong attention to detail. Good hand-eye coordination. Ability to follow detailed written procedures. Ability to perform repetitive, precision assembly tasks. Ability to accurately complete manufacturing and quality documentation. Comfort working with small components and precision tools. Dependable attendance and punctuality. Ability to work effectively as part of a manufacturing team. Willingness to learn specialized medical device manufacturing processes. Previous manufacturing, production, assembly, medical device, electronics, laboratory, cleanroom, or precision assembly experience is a plus.
