Summary
Represents the company's products and services to end customers, Mobility (AMR/AGV) distribution channels, and its integrators.  Responsible for development and management of overall Mobility (AMR/AGV) sales and generating year-over-year growth in sales, market share, and profitability.  Collaborates with other market segments such as Tier-1 and Automotive when needed to achieve sales.

Location/Territory: Michigan

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned. 

  • Achieves sales of mobility products, AMR's, KMR's and related services (training, engineering support, on-site support, etc.) with end-users and through AMR distribution channels, integrators, and System Partners.
  • Develops strategic plans to increase sales and gain additional market share for mobility applications by identifying new AMR expansion and sales opportunities.
  • Develops and maintains a long-term business relationship between KUKA Robotics and AMR industry partners, integrators, System Partners and end user customers.
  • Develops and presents mobility product presentations at KUKA Robotics sales and System Partner meetings.
  • Expands current AMR sales channels and customer base by following up on all customer leads, supporting account manager activity when needed, preparing quotes and making presentations to customers.
  • Represents KUKA Robotics professionally as part of the global operating holding company KUKA AG in order to improve and grow our business in North America.
    Effectively presents company products/services/structure to new and existing customers as requested by the general industry sales team. 
  • Manages and assists Sales Applications Engineering in preparing AMR customer demonstrations.
  • Assists Sales Operations in the development of AMR related proposal packages.
  • Provides and documents product and market feedback to the global Key Technology Manager on AMR products and strategies.
  • Monitors the competition's products and services and notifies management of benchmarks (prices, technical advantages, technical problems, organization, etc.).
  • Cooperates with all internal departments in order to achieve overall targets. 
    Travels as needed to customer sites throughout the US as well as to KUKA headquarters in Augsburg/Germany.   
  • Adheres to the Quality System and participates in continuous improvements.
    Understands and follows safety regulations and identifies safety concerns. 
What you need to succeed

Qualifications

  • Knowledge and understanding of AMR solutions used by general industry companies.  Understanding and working knowledge of the various AMR applications from which general industry companies may benefit.
  • Proficient in MS Office products including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.  Reporting and forecasting experience and understanding and working knowledge of CRM (Salesforce preferred).

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university and three years of related robot sales experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Preferred:  strong relationship with customer contacts:  engineering, purchasing, logistics and material flow departments, supplier base and its integrators.
