A Learning Community
Notre Dame High School, San Jose is the center for women's leadership in Silicon Valley and has provided an exceptional Catholic college preparatory education for young women since 1851. The Robotics Program
Robotics is a year-round program that allows students to explore STEAM through real world challenges. The program is student focused and allows students to work with professional engineers as mentors who support student hands on learning. The team participates in the FIRST Robotics Competition where they collaborate to design, build and program a functional robot.
Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Co-Director, Robotics Program Administration to provide student engagement experiences
  • Collaborate with Co-Director to recruit students, and develop onboarding and orientation activities for students
  • Guide and support students in building a FIRST Robotics Competition robot
  • Guide and support student skill development
  • Recruit and provide guidance for adult Robotics mentors
  • Work with Robotics student Leaders to plan and organize robotics meetings, competitions, outreach events and projects
  • Track student attendance and participation

Qualifications:
  • Three to five years of experience working with high school students in Robotics or related fields
  • Demonstrated leadership capacity

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred in Engineering, or related STEM field
  • Familiarity with FIRST Robotic

Terms of Employment:
  • 2026 - 2027 academic year
  • Annual renewable contract
