Description

Role: Brand and Content Manager

Location: New York City | Hybrid (4 days in office)
Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000
Reports to: Sr. Director of Brand, Culture and Community

About Us

New York Preschool & Kids Club is an early childhood education and enrichment platform serving modern New York families through high-quality preschool education, enrichment programming, extended day, and summer camp experiences . With multiple schools across NYC and private-equity backing, NYPKC is building a best-in-class operating platform, delivering on the full family experience for children and parents.

About the Role

NYPKC is looking for a creative, social-first Brand & Content Manager to help define how modern NYC families experience our brand.

This role will lead content creation, organic social media, storytelling, community presence, and brand engagement across all NYPKC locations. We're looking for someone who understands NYC family culture, aesthetics, trends, and how to create content that feels authentic, emotionally resonant, and highly shareable.

The ideal candidate is equal parts creator, strategist, and operator - someone who loves being inside schools, capturing real moments, building relationships with families, and translating everyday experiences into compelling content and community connection.

While this role will oversee day-to-day marketing operations including agency coordination, vendor management, and partnership with Enrollment on paid media and lead generation, the heart of the role is storytelling, organic growth, and brand connection.

How This Role Fits Into the Organization

The Brand & Content Manager reports directly to the Sr. Director of Brand, Culture & Community and works closely with the CEO to help shape how NYPKC shows up in the NYC parenting market.

You will partner closely with Enrollment, school leaders, Operations, and external creative partners to ensure our brand feels consistent, modern, trusted, and deeply connected to families across every touchpoint.

This role is highly visible and highly collaborative. We're looking for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, enjoys being in the community, and gets excited about building a brand families genuinely want to engage with and talk about.

What You'll Do

Content Creation & Social Storytelling

  • Direct and expand our social ecosystem across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Facebook, keeping pace with emerging digital landscapes
  • Infiltrate the daily life of our schools to capture genuine classroom energy, campus events, and local community milestones
  • Produce high-aesthetic short-form video and photo assets that resonate emotionally with modern parents
  • Pivot real-time family interactions into compelling narratives that cultivate deep trust and brand affinity
  • Anticipate evolving social trends and platform shifts specifically tailored to the NYC parenting culture
  • Orchestrate a continuous content engine that highlights the warmth, creativity, and vibrant spirit of NYPKC

Creative Strategy & Brand Development

  • Collaborate with the executive team on seasonal campaigns, core messaging, and creative benchmarks
  • Uphold rigorous standards for visual identity and brand voice across every family interaction
  • Manage a network of freelance photographers, videographers, and creative agencies to elevate output
  • Leverage AI platforms to optimize creative workflows and ideation while preserving an authentic human touch

Marketing Operations & Enrollment Partnership

  • Work in lockstep with Enrollment to ensure brand awareness translates directly into tours and school admissions
  • Oversee performance marketing vendors and specialized agency partners to maximize impact
  • Execute comprehensive marketing plans for camp, preschool, and extended day programs
  • Control creative timelines and marketing calendars to ensure seamless delivery from all vendors
  • Direct HubSpot initiatives and lead generation flows to maintain a healthy enrollment funnel
  • Analyze engagement data and performance metrics to continuously iterate and improve strategy

Requirements

 What We're Looking For

  • 3-7 years of experience in content creation, social media, brand marketing, or community-focused marketing
  • Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and modern social storytelling
  • Strong eye for aesthetics, branding, and visual storytelling
  • Experience creating authentic, engaging content that builds real audience connection
  • Comfortable capturing real-time content across schools, events, and community experiences
  • Strong written communication and copywriting skills
  • Experience managing creative vendors, freelancers, or agency partners
  • Familiarity with AI tools that support content creation and workflow efficiency
  • Highly collaborative, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
  • NYC market and family brand experience strongly preferred

What Success Looks Like

  • A vibrant, recognizable NYPKC brand presence that feels authentic, modern, and deeply connected to NYC families
  • Consistent creation of high-quality social, video, and community-driven content across all schools and programs
  • Increased parent engagement, brand awareness, inquiries, tours, and word-of-mouth growth driven by compelling storytelling and community connection
  • Strong alignment between Marketing, Enrollment, and school teams to support enrollment and retention goals
  • A social presence that families genuinely engage with, share, and trust
  • Thoughtful use of AI tools to enhance efficiency, creativity, and output while maintaining authentic human-centered storytelling
  • Strong relationships with local community partners, creators, and family-focused organizations across NYC neighborhoods
  • A consistent and elevated NYPKC brand experience across digital, in-school, and community touchpoints
  • Clear visibility into marketing performance, engagement trends, and content effectiveness
  • NYC family brand, lifestyle, hospitality, parenting, or community-based marketing experience strongly preferred

What's in it for you:

  • Medical, Dental, and Vision Benefits
  • Paid Time Off
  • 401(k) Savings and Retirement Plan
