Job description

The Director, Client Managing Partner is the strategic account owner for a portfolio of Acxiom clients in the Travel, Hospitality, and Entertainment verticals, accountable for delivering measurable business outcomes, strengthening executive relationships, driving revenue growth, and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction. This role serves as the primary commercial and strategic partner to the client, translating business priorities into Acxiom solutions that create value, improve performance, and expand the relationship over time. The ideal candidate is a confident, independent account leader who can own the strategy, forecast, pipeline, renewals, and client experience while effectively leveraging Acxiom's cross-functional teams to deliver successful outcomes.

WE NEED:

Business Outcome Leader:Ability to understand a client's business priorities, connect Acxiom capabilities to measurable outcomes, and ensure the client realizes value from the partnership.

Strategic Relationship Builder:Skilled at building trusted relationships across executive, business, technical, and operational stakeholders, creating alignment and expanding Acxiom's influence across the account.

Revenue Growth Owner:Proven ability to protect and grow revenue through renewals, retention, upsell, cross-sell, new use cases, and expansion intoadditionallines of business.

Independent Account Owner:Comfortable leading with autonomy, making informed decisions, managing ambiguity, and owning account strategy, client communication, financial performance, and issue resolution.

Team Orchestrator:Able to lead from the front while activating the right Acxiom resources across delivery, product, data, technology, finance, legal, and executive leadership to solve problems and drive client success.

WHAT WILL YOU DO:

Own the overall client relationship and account strategy for assigned accounts, serving as the primary strategic and commercial leader for Acxiom.

Develop and execute account plans that align client businessobjectiveswith Acxiom solutions, capabilities, and services to deliver tangible business outcomes.

Deliver revenue run rate, renewal, profitability, bookings, and incremental growth targets across the assignedbook of business.

Identify, qualify, and close growth opportunities, including renewals, expansion, upsell, cross-sell, new use cases, andadditionallines of business.

Build trusted executive relationships andmaintainconsistent, high-quality communication across client stakeholders and Acxiom leadership.

Lead client business reviews and strategic planning discussions thatdemonstratevalue delivered,identifynew priorities, and advance the partnership.

Serve as the client advocate inside Acxiom, ensuring client expectations are understood, risks are proactively managed, and issues are resolved with urgency and accountability.

Maintainan accurateforecast, opportunity pipeline, account plan, and client records in Salesforce and other required systems.

Lead or support contract negotiations, statements of work, renewals, pricing discussions, and commercial escalation points in partnership with legal, finance, delivery, and leadership teams.

Coordinate cross-functional support across delivery, product, data, engineering, analytics, finance, marketing, and executive leadership to ensure the client receives the rightexpertiseat the right time.

Bring a consultative, value-based approach to client conversations by connecting Acxiom's data, identity, analytics, technology, and service offerings to client growth, efficiency, and customer experience goals.

Monitor client satisfaction,deliveryhealth, adoption, and value realization, proactively addressing risks that couldimpactretention, growth, or the client experience.

Operate with independence and ownership while knowing when and how to engage the broader team to remove barriers, accelerate decisions, and deliver successful outcomes.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with a minimum of ten years of relevant experience in strategic account leadership, enterprise sales, client management, consulting, marketing technology, data, digital, or related services.

Demonstrated success owning large, complex client relationships with accountability for revenue, retention, growth, profitability, and client satisfaction.

Proven ability to build executive relationships, influence senior stakeholders, and lead strategic conversations tied to measurable business impact.

Strong commercial acumen, including experience with forecasting, pipeline management, renewals, contract negotiations, pricing, and account profitability.

Experience developing account plans and converting client priorities into growth strategies, solution roadmaps, and actionable opportunities.

Ability tooperateindependently as the account owner while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams todeliver oncommitments.

Consultative selling skills with the ability to listen, diagnose, frame business challenges, and position Acxiom capabilities in a compelling, outcome-oriented way.

Strong problem-solving, negotiation, communication, presentation, and executive presence skills.

Understanding ofdata, identity, analytics, marketing technology, digital transformation, managed services, or related solution areas.

WHAT WILL SET YOU APART:

Twelve years (12) minimum of relevant experience. In the absence of a bachelor's degree, relevant experience of an equivalent time will be considered.

Expert industry knowledge.

Multi-functional leadership experience (Consulting, BPO, General Management, etc.)

Experience in Marketing and Marketing Technologies, including data insights, analytics, and digital marketing experience.

Experience working with pipeline tracking and account management within Salesforce.

Deep knowledge of digital ad techecosystemsanddigital ad targeting platforms and technology

Deep knowledge of the application of consumerfirst party dataand behavioral data in ad tech

Proventrack recordof meeting/exceeding goals involving add-on deals andmaintaininginstallbasein large, complex organizations.

Proven success in managing clients with multiple lines of business.

Ability to map technology solutions to solve business problems or advance business goals.

Demonstrating resilience and creativity to gain commitments over challenging sales cycles.

Experience with large sales targets
