To thrive as a Freelance Digital Project Manager, you need strong project management skills, a solid understanding of digital marketing or web development, and experience with managing budgets and timelines. Familiarity with tools such as Asana, Trello, Jira, and collaboration platforms like Slack, along with certifications like PMP or Agile, is highly valuable. To ensure smooth collaboration, they rely heavily on digital communication tools such as Slack, Zoom, and project management software like Asana or Trello. • Coordinating team workflows, priorities, and task management

  • Managing schedules across internal teams and external partners

Lead communication across:

  • Internal account, strategy, and creative teams

  • External vendors and platform partners

Drive project success by:

  • Keeping work on time and on budget

  • Identifying risks early and solving proactively

  • Leading status meetings and project communication

  • Ensuring accountability across teams and stakeholders

  • Maintaining momentum and removing roadblocks before they impact delivery

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • 5+ years of project management experience in an agency, digital, or interactive environment

  • Strong experience managing website projects and digital platforms

  • Experience working across complex stakeholder groups and partner teams

  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously with competing deadlines

  • Proficiency in project management tools and workflow systems. Experience with Airtable is a plus

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing and platform management

  • Exceptional written, verbal, and client-facing communication skills

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
