AWS Marketing is seeking an experienced Email Marketing Manager, Events to drive email channel strategy for our global events portfolio. This role is responsible for managing global email marketing initiatives focused on maximizing registration and attendance goals through strategic audience segmentation, email architecture design, and continuous optimization.
Key job responsibilities
Define and execute email channel strategy for specific event programs or regions, including audience segmentation frameworks, email architecture design, and A/B testing protocols
Plan, develop, and execute email campaigns that drive registration and attendance goals for global events and summits
Continuously optimize email campaigns to improve registration-to-attendance conversion rates and meet event capacity targets
Measure how email initiatives impact team goals, customer engagement metrics (open rates, CTR, conversion), registration and attendance goals, and overall customer experience
Regularly review, interpret, and communicate email performance metrics, registration/attendance trends, and optimization insights to peers and managers
Accelerate progress by driving decisions on email cadence, content strategy, and segmentation approaches
Develop technical and creative requirements for email campaigns in partnership with cross-functional teams
Communicate effectively with stakeholders, peers, and managers across marketing operations, event operations, and creative teams
Participate in recruiting and hiring processes, and mentor others on email best practices.
