We're partnering with a charter school in Providence County, Rhode Island to hire a dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for the 2026-2027 school year.
This full-time opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful impact supporting an elementary school caseload. You'll collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective behavior strategies that promote student success across academic, social, emotional, and behavioral domains.
Location: Onsite in Providence County, RI
School Setting: Charter School
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday
Weekly Hours: 40 hours per week
School Year: 2026-2027
Grade Levels: Elementary
Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
Provide direct and consultative behavioral support to students, teachers, and staff.
Collect, analyze, and interpret behavioral data to monitor student progress and inform intervention decisions.
Collaborate with special education staff, related service providers, administrators, and families to support student success.
Provide coaching, training, and support to teachers, paraprofessionals, and classroom staff on behavior management strategies and data collection practices.
Assist in the implementation and monitoring of evidence-based behavioral interventions.
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal special education requirements.
Support compliance with Rhode Island special education regulations, including behavior documentation, progress monitoring, IEP implementation, and data-driven decision-making.
Qualifications:
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field
School-based BCBA experience preferred
Experience conducting FBAs and developing BIPs
Knowledge of IEPs, special education compliance, and behavioral interventions
Strong communication, collaboration, and data analysis skills
