Position Summary:


The Waterjet Operator plays a critical role in the manufacturing process by precisely operating waterjet cutting machinery to shape and fabricate materials according to detailed specifications. This position requires a strong attention to detail to ensure that all cuts meet quality standards and customer requirements, minimizing waste and maximizing efficiency. The operator will collaborate closely with engineering and production teams to interpret technical drawings and optimize cutting paths. Maintaining the equipment in excellent working condition through routine inspections and troubleshooting is essential to prevent downtime. Ultimately, the Waterjet Operator contributes to the production of high-quality components that support the overall success and reputation of the manufacturing facility.

The Waterjet Operator utilizes technical skills daily to interpret complex blueprints and translate them into precise machine operations, ensuring each cut meets exact specifications. Physical Requirements:

The employee is regularly required to stand or walk for extended periods of time. Lift up to 75 pounds, occasionally maneuver through pushing or pulling greater than 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities include near, far, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Work in unfavorable weather conditions.

Education and Experience:
