- Operate CNC mills and/or lathes to produce precision parts according to work instructions.
- Load and unload raw materials and finished parts from machines.
- Monitor machine operation and make minor adjustments as needed to maintain part quality.
- Perform basic measurements using calipers, micrometers, and other inspection tools to ensure parts meet specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) to verify part accuracy.
- Fill out in-process inspection documentation to ensure quality standards are met.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures.
- Assist with basic machine maintenance, such as cleaning and lubrication.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous experience operating CNC machines preferred, but willing to train motivated candidates.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and GD&T.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to accurately complete in-process inspection documentation.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Willingness to learn and work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
