Warehouse Worker on the Intel Campus

Job Description

This role supports a fast-paced warehouse and factory environment by using tablets and computers to access orders, transport materials across a large campus, and perform specialized cleaning and support tasks for production equipment. You will handle shipping and receiving, order picking, packaging, and labeling while maintaining high standards of safety, accuracy, and attention to detail. The position includes cross-training for both warehouse stockroom operations and factory support functions, requiring regular walking, standing, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Use tablets and computers to access, review, and process orders accurately.
  • Work throughout the campus to transport materials between the warehouse, stockrooms, and factory areas.
  • Perform shipping and receiving activities, including unloading and loading materials and products.
  • Receive orders and deliver materials throughout the facility in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Pick, pack, and label orders according to established procedures and quality standards.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts, as trained and authorized.
  • Use RF scanners and RF scan guns to perform order picking, inventory control, and stock management.
  • Assist with warehouse distribution, stocking, palletizing, and warehouse inventory tasks.
  • Support warehouse stockroom operations outside of the factory, with training provided.
  • Train for and perform factory support roles such as FOUP Wash and Reticle Rover, which involve extensive walking and attention to detail.
  • Work inside the factory in a cleanroom environment wearing a bunny suit, remaining on your feet for the majority of the shift.
  • Follow all safety procedures, policies, and guidelines in a highly safety-conscious environment.
  • Maintain accurate records using computers and spreadsheets, ensuring precise data entry and documentation.
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with facility standards.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production, shipping, and delivery timelines.

Essential Skills

  • Previous warehouse experience, including order picking, shipping and receiving, and warehouse distribution.
  • Proficiency with computers, including using tablets and basic computer applications.
  • Experience with spreadsheets for tracking and recording information.
  • Ability to use RF scanners or RF scan guns for order picking, inventory control, and stock management.
  • Experience with picking, packing, labeling, and order pulling in a warehouse environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely and repeatedly.
  • Ability to stand and walk for a 12-hour shift.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment while following established policies and procedures.
  • Willingness to work in both warehouse and factory support roles, including wearing a bunny suit and being on your feet most of the day.

Work Environment

This position is for Shift 7, working 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday through Saturday, with every other Wednesday included, for 12-hour shifts. Work is conducted onsite in a large, high-tech campus that includes both warehouse and factory environments. The pace is fast, and you must follow all site policies and procedures in a very safety-conscious setting. You will receive abundant support and training as you learn warehouse stockroom tasks and factory support roles such as FOUP Wash and Reticle Rover. The factory support work takes place inside a cleanroom environment where you wear a bunny suit and spend most of the day on your feet, with extensive walking required. The dress code includes casual workwear appropriate for a warehouse and factory setting, with a strong emphasis on safety. You must wear steel or composite toe shoes that cover the ankles, and above-ankle steel toes are required when supporting warehouse operations. Good quality walking shoes are important for the factory support role, in addition to meeting the safety footwear requirements.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rio Rancho, NM.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.
