America's Auto Auction (AAA) is a full-service used-vehicle auction services provider that facilitates the wholesale remarketing of used vehicles for B2B customers, delivering a critical liquidity function to enable the used car sales ecosystem. AAA facilitates the selling and buying of used vehicles at physical auction sites across 20 states as well as on digital platforms. We are seeking to fill our open position of Transportation Clerk/Dispatcher. This role will create orders and verify vehicle assignments for financial institutions' in a timely manner so said vehicles can be processed and driver's can be dispatched to get them.
RESPONSIBILITIES
โ€ข Create Order and confirm location of assigned vehicles from various financial institutions.
โ€ข Research variable delays regarding pickup assignments not ready to be verified.
โ€ข Re-verify delays that occur after the vehicle has been dispatched, but not picked up.
โ€ข Confer with banks as to location of vehicles and to answer any other questions they might have regarding transportation needs.
โ€ข Cross check multiple transportation online resources to complete assigned tasks.
โ€ข Assist when needed and available, other employees to expedite their tasks.
โ€ข Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
Competencies/Skills
โ€ข High School Diploma or equivalent required.
โ€ข 1-3 years Auction experience or 2-4 years dealership experience strongly preferred but not necessary.
โ€ข Effective communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills required.

โ€ข Ability to work in a high performance, fast-paced team environment.
โ€ข Solid computer skills, including ability to use Internet and MS Office effectively.
