As a Sales Specialist, you will assist inDeveloping, implementing, and managing account strategies for local / strategic account(s) focused on share of wallet growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction. Also, coordinates the sales activities and manages resolution of specific customer problems.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Understands the key drivers of the relevant customer's business and their business environment and accordingly interprets the impact and opportunity for ABB.
  • High understanding of Infrared and Arc Flash services. You will help develop our teams approach to selling these services and maintaining high quality standards to our approach.
  • Defines and proposes sales targets for the account and ensures those are achieved with a structured follow up process across divisions and countries.
  • Sells products/solutions/services to customers with the focus on volume, mix, and profitability targets representing the whole ABB group.
  • Creates added value for both the customer and ABB by ensuring a coordinated sales approach (e.g., frame agreements, AVL related actions).
  • Drives the application of standardized Marketing and Sales (M&S) processes and tools (Salesforce, Account Plans, AVLs etc.) for the account.
  • Leads the development and implementation of the account plan and SoW growth actions.
  • Monitors competitors' activity with the account and ensures that appropriate response strategies are formulated and implemented.

Your Background:

  • At least 3+ years in a relevant sales position/account manager position.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the design and execution of commercial plans and strategies
  • Good understanding of sales in the electrical division. Primarily Arc Flash, Infrared, Preventative Maintenance and Renewables. High emphasis on Arc Flash and Infrared services.
  • Proven track record in designing and deploying marketing strategies and/or leading and closing sales deals
  • Demonstrated ability for leading and building organizational capabilities, robust systems and processes and culture of high performance / excellence in marketing and sales.
  • Entrepreneurial attitude, excellent communication skills and senior executive presence. Self-driven with networking, collaboration, and intercultural skills.
  • Excellent leadership and people development skills, relevant and successful change management experience.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree preferred in Engineering or Business Administration.

While base salary is determined by things such as the successful applicant's qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay between $100,500 and $130,000 annually and is bonus eligible.
