Job description

As an Electrical Engineer III, you will lead complex electrical engineering projects from concept through completion while collaborating across disciplines to deliver tailored, high-quality solutions for clients. You will play a key role in aligning design intent, technical excellence, and regulatory compliance through Progressive Companies’ Performance Based Design approach. You will also help strengthen the team by mentoring engineers and contributing to a collaborative, growth-focused environment.

Deliver Results
  • Develop high-quality electrical engineering designs and specifications that align with project goals across a range of project complexities.
  • Utilize Revit, AutoCAD, and other engineering tools to improve design accuracy, efficiency, and documentation quality.
  • Lead construction administration activities including RFIs, shop drawing reviews, and field inspections with minimal supervision.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Team Leads, internal disciplines, external consultants, clients, and governing agencies to advance project scope, schedule, and execution.
  • Analyze project feasibility, system performance, and potential risks to provide proactive recommendations and technical insight.
  • Review project documentation for quality, code compliance, and alignment with established standards before submission.
  • Mentor junior engineers, share technical knowledge, and contribute to lessons learned and continuous improvement efforts across the team.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) licensure required.
  • Typically 15+ years of post-graduation professional engineering experience and/or 10+ years of professionally licensed experience.
  • Proficiency with standard technology and software tools, including Revit and AutoCAD.
