Job description

Say hello to opportunities.

If you're looking to be part of what's next in communication, you're in the right place.

At RingCentral, we believe the best customer experiences happen when humans and AI work together. Our agentic voice AI portfolio-AIR, AVA, and ACE-brings together automation, assistance, and insights across the entire conversation lifecycle. The result? More seamless, intelligent experiences for businesses everywhere.

With $2.5B+ in ARR and $250M invested in R&D annually, we're building the future of AI-powered business communications.

AI Receptionist (AIR) is RingCentral's autonomous, voice-first AI agent designed to answer calls, capture leads, and keep businesses running - 24/7. We're now bringing AIR directly into the hands of solopreneurs and small business owners through a best-in-class standalone mobile and desktop app, distributed through the App Store and Google Play. This is a rare opportunity to own a product from the ground up: defining the consumer-grade experience that puts the power of enterprise AI into a one-person business.

What You'll Do

Mobile App Strategy & Roadmap

  • Own the end-to-end product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the AI Receptionist standalone mobile and desktop application.

  • Define the solopreneur user journey from first download through activation, daily use, and retention - balancing simplicity with power.

  • Identify and prioritize features that drive app store growth, ratings, and organic discovery, partnering with marketing and design.

  • Ensure a seamless, consumer-grade experience across iOS, Android, and desktop, upholding RingCentral's standard of "work as one from any location, on any device."

App Store Distribution & Monetization

  • Own the app store go-to-market strategy: pricing tiers, free trial flows, in-app upgrade prompts, and subscription billing via App Store and Google Play.

  • Drive conversion optimization across the freemium-to-paid funnel, using data and experimentation to improve activation rates.

  • Partner with finance and legal teams on compliance with App Store billing policies, regional pricing, and tax requirements.

  • Track and respond to app store reviews, ratings trends, and competitive positioning in the app marketplace.

Solopreneur Experience & AI Interaction Design

  • Define intelligent AIR agent behaviors tailored to solopreneur use cases: call answering, lead capture, appointment scheduling, and business hours management.

  • Design intuitive setup and configuration flows that allow a non-technical solopreneur to go from download to live AI receptionist in minutes.

  • Optimize voice and notification experiences for mobile-first contexts, applying principles of accessibility, tone, and natural dialog design.

  • Collaborate with the AI Skills & Capabilities Sr. PM to bring new AI features to mobile surfaces as a first-class experience.

Data-Driven Decision Making

  • Define and own the KPIs for mobile: DAU/MAU, activation rate, retention curves, churn, App Store rating, and subscription conversion.

  • Leverage interaction data, behavioral analytics, and funnel analysis to inform product iterations and prioritization.

  • Partner with design and research teams to run qualitative studies, usability tests, and A/B experiments.

  • Drive continuous optimization of onboarding, core flows, and push notification strategies to maximize engagement.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with other PMs on mobile feature work affecting the broader AIR product surface.

  • Work with engineering, design, data science, and marketing to ship high-quality experiences on aggressive timelines.

  • Serve as the voice of the solopreneur customer in roadmap and planning discussions with leadership.

  • Align with the broader RingCentral platform teams on shared infrastructure, auth, billing, and analytics capabilities.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, HCI, or a related field; equivalent practical experience welcomed.

  • 5+ years of product management experience, with at least 2 years owning a consumer or prosumer mobile app (iOS and/or Android).

  • Experience with App Store and Google Play distribution, including in-app purchases, subscription models, and store optimization.

  • Strong consumer UX instincts - you know what "delightful" feels like and can translate it into crisp product requirements.

  • Proven ability to define and track product KPIs, run A/B experiments, and make data-informed decisions.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; comfortable presenting to executives and influencing cross-functionally.

  • Familiarity with AI-powered products or conversational assistants is a strong plus.

  • Bonus: experience in SMB or solopreneur markets, or with freemium-to-paid conversion at scale.

What we offer

  • Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance

  • Health Savings Account (HSA), Flexible Spending Account (FSAs) and Commuter benefits

  • 401K match and ESPP

  • Paid time off and paid sick leave

  • Paid parental and pregnancy leave and new parent gift boxes

  • Family-forming benefits (IVF, Preservation, Adoption etc.)

  • Emergency backup care (Child/Adult/Pets)

  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) with counseling sessions available 24/7

  • Free legal services that provide legal advice, document creation and estate planning

  • Employee bonus referral program

  • Student loan refinancing assistance

  • Employee perks and discounts program
