As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Miller Behavioral Services, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Facilitating Group Therapy: Lead engaging and supportive group sessions that create a safe space for clients to connect, share their experiences, and learn from each other.
• Conducting Individual Therapy: Provide personalized, empathetic counseling to help clients explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, developing effective coping strategies and actionable plans.
• Collaborative Treatment Planning: Work closely with clients to design individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans tailored to their unique needs and preferences.
• Monitoring Client Progress: Utilize various assessment tools and feedback mechanisms to track and evaluate clients’ progress, ensuring they are on the right path to recovery.
• Team Collaboration: Actively engage with a multidisciplinary team, effectively communicating and coordinating care while consulting on complex cases to optimize client outcomes.

This role focuses primarily on young adults between the ages of 18-30, who may be struggling with various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and related challenges. By implementing evidence-based methodologies and integrating holistic practices, you will be equipped to tailor your approach, addressing the specific needs of this demographic. To be considered for this position, candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field, along with a valid state-issued LPC license.
