Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will be responsible for a range of clinical interventions aimed at supporting both couples and families. Your day-to-day tasks will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental health and relationship dynamics.
• Providing one-on-one therapy sessions as well as couple and family therapy aimed at resolving conflicts and improving communication.
• Addressing specific challenges such as substance abuse, grief and loss, and adjustment to life changes.
• Developing individualized treatment plans that are tailored to meet each client’s unique needs.
• Engaging with clients through evidence-based therapeutic approaches, ensuring consistent progress toward their therapeutic goals.
• Documenting and maintaining accurate clinical records while adhering to regulatory standards.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and share best practices.
• Participating in ongoing training and professional development to enhance clinical skills and therapeutic techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your client base will include adults, children, and adolescents, presenting a range of mental health concerns, from anxiety and depression to relationship conflicts and family dynamics. The therapy will encompass various family structures, including blended families, and you will be equipped to tackle challenges arising from separation or divorce, job-related stress, and communication barriers among family members.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Current and active license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Tennessee.
• Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
• Strong commitment to client-centered care and clinical excellence.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
