What You Bring to the Team:

  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • Experience with on-the-job or technical training
  • Previous Snap-on experience highly preferred
  • Previous experience with Snap-on Franchisee computer systems
  • Willingness to travel extensively

Key Tasks:

We set you up for success! After completing comprehensive training, Franchisee Developers provide on-the-job training to new franchisees who are starting up their businesses, and company store sales reps who operate Snap-on owned stores. Training focuses on following Snap-on processes, including managing cash flow, maintaining effective inventory levels, collecting payments, and developing and maintaining strong revolving account programs. Franchisee Developers also provide training for current franchisees and on ways to improve their businesses, and required operation instructions to company store reps.

Franchisee Developers have the full support of the Snap-on management team, and are regularly reviewed for progression opportunities within the Franchise Performance Teams. With solid performance, they are typically progressed quickly through additional roles in the field sales organization. We value your education and experience, and consider candidates from diverse backgrounds.

Franchise Development and Compliance

  • During an intensive 5+ week one-on-one training period, consult with franchisees on how to best run their new business, including but not limited to the following topics:
    • Effectively managing business cash flow while effectively managing inventory levels
    • Communicating with all members of the inside and outside sales force
    • Collecting on all credit accounts
    • Developing and maintaining a strong Revolving Account program
    • Processing repairs and warranty replacements
    • Maintain compliance with franchisee agreement
    • Continually provide feedback and update training materials and content based on experience and changes in Snap-on organization
    • Advise franchisees on an as-needed and as-available basis, including contributing to franchisee meetings as needed

Salary Range: $64,500-105,000 base pay in addition to a 15% quarterly bonus earning opportunity. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, location, and other factors.
