Job Summary:

Based on daily production schedule, check, and stage all necessary components required for each job ticket at Frame area; to maximize productivity in Frame area.


Shift Hours: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm


Job Description:

  • Work alongside and assist with frame assembly in the framing area.
  • Accurately interpret and produce according to individual job specifications (job tickets)
  • Accurately fill out required documentation
  • Identity & report inconsistencies regarding quality, job specifications (job tickets)
  • Read and comprehend Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Locate components required for frame assembly.
  • Operate pinner to assemble frames.
  • Basic knowledge of hand tools (e.g., hammer, screwdriver, wrench, pliers)
  • Assembly of frames using components such as wood, acrylic, images, and backing boards; secure frames with staple pins.
  • Handle all components with care to prevent grease marks, smudges, dirt, scratches, or dents on the final product.
  • Inspect completed frames to ensure quality standards are met, verifying that there are no grease marks, smudges, dirt, scratches, or dents.
  • Wrap frames in plastic and place into a carton for packaging.
  • Return all unused components to their designated storage locations.
  • Contribute to safety goals by maintaining a clean, clutter-free workplace, report potentially unsafe conditions and ensure that the department meets and exceeds safety requirements.
  • Meet productivity and quality standards by completing work in timely and accurate manner
  • Collaborate with Manager/Supervisor and Team members to address opportunities for improvement.
  • Self-starter, working independently with minimal direction.
  • Maintain a positive attitude, high energy, and a strong drive to contribute and make an impact.
  • Effectively prioritize multiple tasks and perform complex duties as required.
  • Work in Screen department operations as needed to meet production requirements.
  • Responsible for the disposal of garbage and recycling bins within department
  • Maintain 5S standards throughout the Framing and Screen departments.
  • Wear required gloves when handling materials.
  • Work Overtime as needed
  • Other Duties assigned

Minimum Qualifications of Position:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications of Position:

  • Previous Framer experience a plus but not required

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Ability to interpret written instructions.
  • Multi-tasking and prioritizing skills.
  • Organizational and planning skills for self-directed daily activities.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:

  • Consistently and correctly use required PPE.
  • Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to visually inspect all frames for defects and ensure cleanliness, with no imperfections such as ink residue, scratches, or holes.

Pay Statement

The national pay range for this role is listed below. The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.
