Job description

Position Description: Do you excel at leading complex functional initiatives, guiding teams through business process improvements, and providing senior level support across multiple financial system workstreams? CGI Federal has an outstanding opportunity for an ERP Business Systems Analyst 4 within our Intel sector, serving as a senior contributor who anchors requirements, process governance, documentation quality, and cross functional coordination. This role represents a combined position, merging senior level responsibilities from ERP Business Systems Analyst 4 and fractional duties from Software Architect/Engineer 4 into one unified, full time seat. You will lead requirements refinement, business process governance, documentation oversight, and multi workstream alignment to ensure consistency and quality across the financial system landscape. This position is located in Springfield, VA. Your future duties and responsibilities: . Lead refinement of financial system requirements, ensuring clarity, feasibility, and alignment with business objectives. . Guide business process governance, coordinating updates, conducting process reviews, and ensuring documentation accuracy. . Oversee creation, maintenance, and quality of SOPs, workflow guides, and operational documentation across multiple teams. . Partner with functional analysts and technical staff to analyze impacts of system enhancements, changes, and new features. . Provide senior level support for complex issues requiring deep functional knowledge and business process insight. . Facilitate cross team collaboration, ensuring consistent understanding of processes, workflows, and system behavior. . Contribute to high value activities such as configuration reviews, process validation, and quality assurance oversight. Required qualifications to be successful in this role: . Bachelor's degree in IT, Finance, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience). . Active Top Secret with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with polygraph required. . 5+ years of functional ERP/financial system experience with demonstrated senior level responsibilities. . Proven ability to lead requirements gathering, process definition, and functional analysis. . Experience producing high quality SOPs, process documentation, user guides, and governance artifacts. . Strong ability to diagnose complex issues and guide cross functional teams toward resolution. . Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and analytical skills. Desired qualifications/non essential skills required: . Active TS/ SCI with polygraph . Experience supporting enterprise ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, Momentum, or similar). . Familiarity with release cycles, configuration management, and workflow impacts. . Understanding of project governance, documentation frameworks, or process improvement methodologies. . Strong organization and leadership skills, with experience coordinating multi disciplinary teams. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $79,600.00 $172,400.00.
