Shift: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• High School completion required.

Requirements:

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: TruStaff Program - Bon Secours Mercy Health and no current placement allowed at Program: TruStaff Program - Bon Secours Mercy Health.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Experience with cardiac catheterization procedures, Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI), Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), Impella support device, Fractional Flow Reserve (FFR), Intravascular Ultrasound (IVUS), pacemakers, Electrophysiology (EP) procedures, structural heart procedures (e.g., TAVR, MitraClip), Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO), TandemHeart support, and neuro-interventional procedures (cerebral angiograms, thrombectomy, coiling, carotid stenting) required.

Unit Details: High-acuity, fast-paced interventional environment. Functions in scrub, monitor, and circulate roles; assists with moderate sedation, medication and contrast administration, and IV starts. Uses an angiographic archival system and digital X-ray acquiring system. Cares for patients across the lifespan, including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

Shift & Scheduling: Monday through Friday as assigned. Minimum of one weekday on-call shift per week. On-call every 4th weekend. Additional weekday and weekend on-call shifts may be needed to support coverage for open positions. May be required to stay beyond the scheduled shift if more than one procedure room remains in operation at the end of the day.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 2 years

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or the alternative certification CI

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) or the alternative certification PALS (American Heart Association (AHA))
