TheGeneral Foundry Production role is an entry-level manufacturing position for individuals beginning their career with Waupaca Foundry. Employees will be assigned to a production or service department where they will receive the hands-on training to develop the skills and work pace needed to advance into department-specific job classifications.

This role involvesheavy industrial work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and includes repetitive tasks, machine operation, and manual material handling.

Employees must be willing to work night shift, weekends and overtime to support the production goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete safety training and follow all departmental safety policies and procedures.
  • Utilize process control documents and departmental work instructions (DWIs).
  • Patricipate in Wauapca Foundry's 6-S housekeeping and workplace organization programs.
  • Complete training related to ISO 14001 Environmental Certification.
  • Maintain a work pace that supports on-time delivery and production goals.
  • Operate hand tools, machines, and production euqipment.
  • Perform visual inspections of casting and manufactured products for defects.
  • Handle and lift materials up to 50 pounds.

Pay & Shift Premiums
