This individual serves as a key member of the Moves Management team and is accountable for an assigned share of the Foundation's fundraising goals.This person is responsible for communication, interaction, and development of deep relationships with Foundation and System management, staff, board members, volunteers, financial advisors and community leaders to cultivate, and help secure future philanthropic gifts.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Manages the movement of donor and prospective donor activity both independently and in concert with the President, Senior Vice President for Major Gifts, Vice President for Major Gifts, Associate VP of Research and other staff as needed. Solicits major gifts from for a wide array of projects, programs and endowments and provides stewardship of donors.
  • Works collaboratively with other development officers within the Foundation to provide continuity in relationship throughout the continuum of giving. Explores and recommends engagement strategies targeted to prospective donors. Works closely with donor relations staff to develop, and implement, those strategies.
  • Develops and provides leadership for significant fund-raising projects in support of HonorHealth strategic priorities. Tracks secured gifts and pledges against defined goals. Uses the development database to plan, document, track, report and perform donor relationship activities and objectives.
  • Administration and management responsibilities includes: Working with volunteers as needed to assist with major gifts programs, maintaining professional membership in trade association and professional societies, working collaboratively with other staff members to develop strategic goals and measures, and completing special assignments for the President or Senior Vice President as required. Other duties as assigned.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Bachelors Required
  • Masters Preferred

EXPERIENCE
  • 5 years, Identification, acquisition, solicitation and stewardship of annual & major gifts Required
  • , CFRE (Certified Fund Raising Executive) Preferred
