Description

SAIC is seeking motivated candidates to support the Eden project as part of an Agile Delivery team in the Solutions and Technology Group. The candidate for this position may work remotely anywhere in the United States. The Software Systems engineer will be responsible for integrating the applications involved to create a DCS environment that adheres to the zero-trust architecture. The engineer may also support patching, upgrading, and securing the image for regular update releases into production.  The engineer will also support other activities and projects in support of the agile teams mission. General duties will include:

  • Plans, implements, tests, documents, and maintains solutions to total systems or subsystems using internally created and/or commercial off-the-shelf products
  • Coordinates the analysis, acquisition and installation of hardware and software
  • Gathers and analyzes data to support the development of system requirements
  • Provides post-installation and integration support to the operations team
  • Develops work plans, procedures, and estimates as they relate to systems integration tasks and team members
  • Interfaces with various team members to implement tasks according to the project management schedule
  • Develops technical instructions, engineering plans, technical designs, and other systems integration related documents

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree and 14+ years of experience as a system integrator, system engineer, or senior system administrator with focus on Data Centric System integration. Additional 4 years can be used in lieu of a degree
  • Experience installing, upgrading, troubleshooting, and integrating network devices, virtualization technologies, and storage devices
  • Must be familiar with applications and tooling like Ping Directory, Fortra Titus, Virtru, active directory, or Cord3
  • Must have an IAT II cert or be able to obtain within 60 days of start date
  • Extensive experience installing, upgrading, troubleshooting, and integrating Microsoft system, Linux, ICAM, IDAM, PKI, and other applications in an air gapped environment
  • Candidates must be U.S. Citizens
  • The ability to get a Secret Clearance
  • Knowledge of zero-trust requirements, regulations, policies, and procedures

Target salary range: $160,001 - $200,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
