Job description

We are looking for two experienced Backend Developers to join our team and contribute to the development of industrial and logistics software solutions in a highly technical environment.

The role is primarily focused on backend development using Node.js and Node-RED, with strong interaction with REST APIs, PostgreSQL databases, and industrial communication protocols.

You will work on the development of software features, API integrations, and communication layers between applications, databases, and industrial machinery within a collaborative Agile environment.

Position Overview

Role: Backend Developer โ€“ Node.js / Node-RED

Experience Level: Mid-Senior (minimum 6 years of total experience)

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Node.js and Node-RED
  • Build and enhance RESTful APIs and integration layers
  • Interface software solutions with SQL databases and industrial machinery
  • Develop scalable and maintainable backend features
  • Participate in architecture discussions and technical design
  • Ensure code quality through reviews and testing practices
  • Push, maintain, and review code using GitLab
Integration & Testing
  • Develop and execute integration tests
  • Troubleshoot backend and communication issues
  • Validate interactions between APIs, databases, and connected systems
  • Support deployment and debugging activities when required
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including frontend developers, project managers, and client stakeholders
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and technical discussions
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes
