Title: Operations Technology Engineer-OSIsoft PI Location: Detroit, MI (Hybrid schedule) Duration: 12 months then eligible for Contract renewal Role Type: W2 contract engagement Schedule: Hybrid schedule-- In office (Tue, Wed, Thu) Top Skills: Software familiarity: Rockwell FactoryTalk View, studio, and historian/osi historian GE Proficy HMI and Historian Aveva Wonderware HMI and historian Kepware or other OPC experience Nice to have: IIOT (industrial internet of things) MQTT Influx DB Grafana Node RED Hardware familiarity PLC's specifically Allen Bradley, GE, and Siemens Red Lion Power meters, especially Schneider Electric Computer/Networking Know how to setup users, change system settings (UAC, windows firewall, power settings, etc) Know how to set network adapter settings Basic understanding of physical layer switches, firewalls, routers Ability to troubleshoot network problems and terminate connections a plus Familiarity with process control protocols (Modbus, Profibus, ProfNet, Ethernet/IP, BACnet, OPC, DNP3, etc) a plus Soft Skills: Understand that the job requires great flexibly in a dynamic setting that changes almost constantly Understand they will have to do things that may not have anything to do with their job title Good personality that fits well with the team "Beware of scams.
