Job description:ย 

Knowledgeable Open System Administratorย with a deep specialization in IBM Security Verify Access (ISVA)ย (formerly IBM Security Access Manager - ISAM). This role is critical for securing our enterprise environment, particularly our IBM WebSphere-based Portal and Application Servers.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end implementation, configuration, and administration of ISVA, with a primary focus on implementing advanced security controls, including Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), leveraging ISVA's Advanced Access Control (AAC)ย module. This position requires hands-on experience in Unix/Linux open systems and securing complex application architectures.

Technical Expertise (Non-Negotiable)

  • Expert-level knowledge of IBM Security Verify Access (ISVA) / ISAM.
  • Thorough knowledge and experience implementing and customizing ISVA's Advanced Access Control (AAC) module for MFA and risk-based authentication.
  • Strong understanding of Identity Management (IdM) protocols and standards.
  • Experience in administering and securing IBM WebSphere Application Server and WebSphere Portalย environments.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Python, JavaScript) for automation and customization within ISVA.
  • Working knowledge of network infrastructure, load balancing, DNS, and digital certificate management in a security context.

Nice to have:

In-depth, hands-on experience with ISVA's Federation moduleย (SAML, OAuth, OIDC) for setting up and maintaining Single Sign-On (SSO).
