Position Type:  Continuing
Level of Benefits:  Full benefits
Pay Range:  State Salary Schedule + [10.5% - 18% local supplement]
Position Purpose:  Under the general supervision of the School Principal, to maximize the learning experience of students with special needs, in academics, interpersonal skills and activities of daily living by implementing district approved curriculum; documenting teaching and student progress/activities, outcomes; addressing students' specific needs; providing a safe and optimal learning environment.  Click to view the Teacher job description.
Minimum Degree Level:  Bachelor's Degree (click here for more info about Master's pay)   Alternative Licensed Pathways: If you are offered a position with BCS, our licensure specialist can share information on the 1-year Emergency License and later work with you to convert this to a Residency License. Qualifications:





  • Bachelor's degree
  • 18 semester hours of relevant coursework
  • 2.7 GPA (undergraduate coursework or post-graduate coursework)
  • Ability to produce an official, degree dated transcript from an accredited university
  • Former Lateral Entry license candidates are eligible to apply
