Digital Marketing Specialist

Position Summary:

The Digital Marketing Specialist leads the evolution of digital marketing, early adoption and integration of AI-enabled marketing at Scot Forge, shaping how the company attracts, engages and converts customers and candidates in a rapidly evolving digital landscape. This person plays a key role in driving demand generation and is responsible for managing our digital presence across multiple channels, optimizing SEO and campaign performance and leveraging data-driven insights. The ideal person has a demonstrated history of utilizing cutting-edge technology, combining strong technical marketing skills with an analytical mindset and a passion to experiment with and integrate new digital tools.

Essential Position Responsibilities:

  • Manage and optimize all digital marketing channels including AI-driven zero-click search, SEO, paid search, social media, digital advertising, email marketing and the company website across Scot Forge and joint ventures, ensuring performance, consistency and scalability across platforms
  • Lead the evaluation, testing and integration of emerging digital tools, AI-enabled technologies and new search or media paradigms to expand marketing capabilities and maintain competitive advantage
  • Leverage AI-enabled and advanced analytics tools to enhance audience targeting, content personalization and campaign efficiency
  • Partner with Sales and commercial leadership to align digital marketing programs with business objectives, ensuring effective lead qualification, Sales handoff and follow-up
  • Plan and execute integrated multi-channel campaigns that promotes qualified lead generation, customer engagement and brand visibility, balancing experimentation with performance accountability
  • Administer marketing automation platforms and digital tools to support Sales team through lead nurturing, segmentation and an optimized end-to-end customer journey informed by real time data
  • Monitor and analyze digital channel and campaign performance to identify trends, evaluate ROI and continuously optimize programs by applying emerging technologies, platform updates and new tactics


Qualifications:

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communication or a related field
  • 3-5 years of hands-on digital marketing experience, including AI platforms, preferably in a B2B or industrial environment


Desired Skills:

  • Practical experience managing SEO, Google Ads, Google Analytics, paid social, email marketing platforms and AI-enabled or advanced marketing technologies
  • Working knowledge of digital marketing strategies and tactics across channels including SEO, SEM, PPC, social media, email marketing, content marketing and digital advertising
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data and translate insights into clear recommendations and measurable actions
  • Curious and creative problem-solver who is comfortable experimenting with new tools, platforms and AI-driven approaches to improve outcomes
  • Strong communication, organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities


Additional Information:


  • Scot Forge requires all employees to work 100% onsite.
  • This position is primarily located in our Spring Grove, IL facility with occasional travel to plants in other locations as required (Franklin Park, IL and Clinton, WI).

  • Must be authorized to work anywhere in the U.S. without sponsorship
  • Must be able to pass a 90 day head hair drug test today.


Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:


Position requires working in office environment and occasionally working in production areas while forklifts, overhead cranes and related equipment are in use.

The estimated pay range for this position is the lowest and highest range we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We ultimately may pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. The actual base pay offered to a candidate will depend on various factors including but not limited to relevant skills, experience, qualifications, education, certifications, seniority, geographic location and prevailing minimum wage, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs.
