Job description

Responsibilities

  • This is the 2nd level of Electrical Foreman expertise. Designs, installs, and maintains all electrical equipment and installations in the Region to insure that all operations are safe, profitable and efficient.
  • Conducts all operations in compliance with all applicable rules and regulations of the regulatory agencies.
  • Makes repairs as required and oversees third-party services when necessary to utilize.
  • Diagnose problems with all of Citation’s electrical equipment within the Region.
  • Recommends improvements to supervisor.
  • Familiarity with prices of goods and services from all available vendors in the region to ensure Citation receives the best value.
  • Maintain working relationships with representatives of electrical power companies.
  • Evaluate company operations in an effort to increase production by eliminating electrical downtime and lower operating costs.
  • Monitors monthly electrical bills and reports any discrepancies to the Senior Electrical Foreman.
  • Signs and dates field tickets related to all electrical work.

Qualifications

  • High School education or G.E.D.
  • Employment contingent upon a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report.
  • Employment is contingent upon being able to wear all types of breathing air equipment and pass a pulmonary function test and a fit test.
  • Successful completion of industry schools as scheduled by Citation.
  • Successful completion of safety and regulatory training as scheduled by Citation.

Physical Requirements

  • Job duties require working outdoors year-round in all weather conditions.
  • Climbing stairs 20ft in height while wearing breathing apparatus.
  • Ability to move in and out of trenches during line repairs, carrying tools, and wearing breathing air equipment.
  • Lifting up to 50lbs, pushing and pulling required.
