A well-established intellectual property boutique law firm is seeking a mid-level Patent Paralegal with a minimum of 3+ years of experience handling non-U.S. international filings to join their patent team.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will coordinate and manage international patent filings and prosecution across multiple jurisdictions, monitor international patent deadlines and ensure timely responses, and review foreign dockets while following up with clients and attorneys to close out completed actions. Additional responsibilities include corresponding with clients regarding critical foreign deadlines and all phases of foreign prosecution, communicating with foreign agents on all aspects of national phase filings, and managing all formalities associated with foreign filings — including requesting executed documents from clients and inventors, ordering certified documents from the USPTO, requesting legalization of documents, and forwarding to foreign agents.
