Job description

Position Summary:
Under the supervision, and/or direction of the Nursing Director / Clinical Manager, Resource Nurse, or Staff Nurse, performs various duties in the treatment and care of patients in accordance with established functions and procedures of the hospital.

Position Qualification:

  • High School graduate or equivalent work experience and
  • Minimum of six months experience as a Patient Care Tech in a hospital setting; or
  • EKG, Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant Certification; or
  • Foreign Nurse/Physician with appropriate documentation; or
  • Nursing Student that completed 1st year of Nursing School; or
  • Requires a thorough knowledge of basic nursing functions to meet patient needs for ADL's must be able to work rapidly under stressful situations with many interruptions.

Licenses/Certifications:

  • Required BLS certification from the American Red Cross
  • COAP

Must clear background and drug test required.
