Job description

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Foreign Military Sales Systems Engineer to join our team in Washington, DC. This is a hybrid position which will require 2-3 days onsite per week. The Senior Engineer will support the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) AEGIS and Non-AEGIS Programs. Serving as a direct report to the Case Development Case Manager, this ESS function primarily serves as the day-to-day support of the development of executable combat system configurations for international engagement opportunities, including the acquisition and technical support of the Aegis Combat System's Computer Program and supporting hardware. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Provide high quality program management and systems engineering support to US DOD international assistance and cooperative development programs with a strong background in (FMS) Aegis Navy programs.
* Will support in designing, implementing, and executing all phases of international programs, from concept development through lifetime support.
* Capable of managing multiple FMS portfolio/programs providing technical and programmatic support related to management, design, development and integration of complex weapons systems architectures.
* Manage multiple programs independently, as required by the government FMS program manager.
* Travel up to 25%, which includes travel both CONUS and OCONUS Minimum Qualifications: * High School Diploma or equivalent education
* 8+ years of experience in an engineering, analyst, and/or project management role supporting Navy combat systems
* United States Navy AEGIS experience
* Must have prior FMS experience and a strong understanding of FMS international policies and processes Preferred Qualifications: * Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering discipline
* Case management and acquisition foreign military sales experience Clearance Requirements: * U.S. citizenship required and possess a current or active Secret clearance. Physical Requirements: * The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
* Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
