A leading Consulting Firm is seeking a Calypso Developer for a 6+ month contact to hire role.

The client is seeking an experienced Calypso Developer to join our team. In this role, you'll design, develop, customize, and integrate enterprise trading and risk management solutions built on the Calypso platform, supporting front-, middle-, and back-office operations across multiple asset classes.
Working closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, quantitative analysts, infrastructure engineers, and market utility providers, you'll develop innovative solutions that modernize trading platforms, streamline business processes, strengthen operational resilience, and support the evolving needs of leading global financial institutions.
This is an outstanding opportunity to work with modern technologies including Calypso, Java, Spring Boot, AWS, microservices, DevSecOps, cloud-native architectures, and enterprise financial integrations, while contributing to large-scale digital transformation initiatives within the Capital Markets industry.

Develop enterprise applications using Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices, JBoss (or equivalent application servers), and messaging technologies while following secure software engineering best practices.
Design, build, and maintain integrations between Calypso and enterprise applications, market utilities, and third-party platforms, including:

Optimize Calypso application performance through tuning, monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Contribute to CGI's Capital Markets technology practice by identifying opportunities for automation, innovation, cloud modernization, and continuous improvement.

What you'll bring
We're seeking an experienced software engineer with deep Capital Markets expertise and a passion for building enterprise-scale trading platforms.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
5+ years of enterprise software development experience, including at least 3 years of hands-on Calypso development within Capital Markets environments.
Strong experience customizing and extending the Calypso platform, including workflows, APIs, trade lifecycle processing, back-office operations, and enterprise integrations.
Advanced proficiency with:

Spring Framework / Spring Boot
