Position Summary
As a Trademark Paralegal, you will play a central role in managing and advancing domestic and international trademark portfolios. Working closely with attorneys and clients, you will handle a wide range of sophisticated intellectual property matters, ensuring precision, timeliness, and strategic support across all stages of the trademark lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage U.S. and foreign trademark filings, including applications, extensions, Statements of Use, renewals, and recordations
  • Support office action responses before the USPTO, WIPO, and foreign trademark offices
  • Conduct trademark searches and prepare analytical reports and prepare copyright applications and manage related filings
  • Assist with TTAB opposition and cancellation proceedings, UDRP filings, and trademark litigation matters
  • Coordinate with docketing teams to maintain and update trademark deadlines using Foundation IP
  • Draft and manage client and foreign associate correspondence while managing client intakes and counsel transitions
  • Maintain organized electronic and physical files; oversee docket accuracy and deadlines
  • Conduct research, investigations, and due diligence on trademark portfolios, including chain of title reviews
This person will also develop deep expertise in trademark docketing systems (Foundation IP) and utilize a variety of tools—including USPTO platforms (TEAS, Trademark Center), WIPO systems, and firm-approved AI solutions—to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
