Job Title: Product Manager - Replenishment & Forecasting

Location: Raleigh, NC (Hybrid)
Position Type: Contract
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Product Manager Replenishment & Forecasting to lead the vision, strategy, and execution of enterprise inventory planning and replenishment capabilities. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about building innovative supply chain solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering products that optimize inventory, improve forecast accuracy, and enhance customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Define and execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Forecasting, Inventory Planning, and Replenishment capabilities.
  • Partner with Supply Chain, Merchandising, Inventory Planning, Operations, and Technology teams to identify business opportunities and deliver impactful product solutions.
  • Gather, analyze, and prioritize business requirements, translating them into product features, user stories, and functional specifications.
  • Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring priorities align with business objectives, customer needs, and technical feasibility.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Architecture, QA, Data Analytics, and Delivery teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Lead Agile product planning activities, including roadmap planning, backlog refinement, sprint planning, release planning, and feature prioritization.
  • Drive initiatives that improve demand forecasting, inventory optimization, replenishment planning, allocation, and product availability.
  • Define and monitor key product performance metrics, leveraging operational KPIs and customer feedback to continuously enhance product capabilities.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies, AI/ML-driven forecasting solutions, and retail planning trends to drive innovation and maintain a competitive advantage.
  • Support enterprise product implementations, upgrades, integrations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Communicate product strategy, roadmap, and delivery progress to executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Act as the product subject matter expert, providing strategic guidance throughout the product lifecycle.
Required Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in Product Management, Supply Chain Technology, Inventory Planning, or Retail Supply Chain.
  • Proven experience managing products or enterprise solutions focused on Demand Forecasting, Inventory Planning, Replenishment, or Supply Chain Planning.
  • Hands-on experience with RELEX or comparable enterprise planning platforms such as Blue Yonder (JDA), SAP IBP, Kinaxis, o9 Solutions, Oracle Retail, or Manhattan Supply Chain Solutions.
  • Strong understanding of demand forecasting, replenishment planning, inventory optimization, allocation, safety stock, and supply planning concepts.
  • Experience defining product roadmaps, managing Agile product backlogs, and leading cross-functional product initiatives.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to translate complex business challenges into scalable product solutions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience partnering with both business and technical teams.
  • Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience within Retail, Distribution, or eCommerce environments.
  • Knowledge of Inventory Planning & Replenishment (IP&R) processes and best practices.
  • Experience integrating Forecasting and Replenishment platforms with ERP, WMS, OMS, and TMS solutions.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML-driven demand forecasting and advanced analytics.
  • Experience leading enterprise-scale digital transformation initiatives within Supply Chain organizations.
