Job description

Role: IT Architect
Work location: Denton, TX, 76208 (Onsite)
Duration: 6-8 months
Pay rate: $72/hr. on W2 Description:
The IT Architect integrates internal and external technical solutions to support business needs, defining technical architectures that support application and user services and ensuring the cohesive functionality of all IT resources. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Designs the implementation and technical architecture of Group and external solutions;
• Creates technical architectural documents describing planned solutions;
• Analyses the technical impacts of new solutions and impacts on existing architectures;
• Creates technical solutions meeting SEP needs in terms of quality, cost, reliability, availability, scalability, performance and exploitability;
• Participates in the definition of IT infrastructures, system references, and technical standards in terms of tools, procedures, standards, vocabulary, security;
• Contributes to the infrastructure roadmap and major Group initiatives;
• Conducts impact analysis on existing architecture and recommends technical choices to ensure the viability of chosen solutions;
• Ensures that internal and/or external opportunities are aligned with Safran Group policy;
• Supports project leaders with IT infrastructure expertise;
• Adheres to safe work practices and contributes to the evolution of the health, safety, and environmental program and culture;
• Regular, predictable attendance is required;
• Other duties may be assigned.

• Bachelor’s Degree required in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Requires 5+ years of experience in information technology
• Experience in Network Architecture preferred Knowledge/Skills

• Network and Telecommunications (CISCO, MPLS/WAN)– Advanced
• IT Security (Palo Alto, Forcepoint, Encryption)– Advanced
• On premises services (VMWare, Netapp, EMC Storage) - Advanced
• Cloud Solutions (AWS) - Advanced
• Enterprise Architecture – Advanced
• ITIL processes - Basic
• Project Management - Basic
• Excellent verbal and oral communication – Advanced (English) Certifications, Licenses, Registrations
Experience in NIST 800-171 and CMMC certification processes and environments preferred
TOGAF certification preferred
