Senior Network Engineer
Location: 100% On-Site in Las Colinas / Irving, TX
Position Type: Direct-Hire
Salary: 150-170k annual plus 10% bonus
Residency Requirements: Candidates must be authorized to work in the US. No sponsorship available.

ABOUT THE POSITION

We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer with extensive experience in Cisco and Spine-Leaf architecture to lead the design, deployment, and optimization of our network infrastructure. This role is ideal for a hands‑on network expert proficient in small to medium sized data center environments, WAN technologies, and network security, capable of architecting reliable, high-performance solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Architect and manage Spine-Leaf networks using Cisco technologies, ensuring high availability and scalability.
  • Implement and maintain secure, high-performance networks across multi-vendor platforms including firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet) and WAN optimization tools.
  • Collaborate with teams to align network solutions with business needs, delivering reliable and secure services.
  • Continuously monitor network performance, identifying and resolving issues swiftly to maintain optimal uptime.
  • Lead network security efforts, including firewalls, encryption, and access controls.
  • Stay informed on emerging technologies and contribute to network evolution strategies.
  • Provide documentation of network architecture, policies, and processes.
  • Participate in an on‑call rotation for network support.
Technical Requirements
  • 6+ years in network engineering, with a focus on data centers and Spine-Leaf architecture.
  • Expertise with Cisco switching and routing technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of eBGP, iBGP, OSPF, and WAN technologies.
  • Experience with firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet) and Meraki cloud‑managed networks.
  • Ability to manage large‑scale projects from planning to execution, ensuring network performance and security.
  • Network automation experience (Ansible, Puppet, Terraform) preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
