Job description

Overview
Auburn Football is seeking an Assistant Director of Football Creative Video to assist in the creative vision, production, and execution of video content for the Auburn Football program. This position supports the Director of Football Creative Video and works closely with the coaching staff, recruiting personnel, Athletics Communications, and the Creative Video Team to produce compelling video content that enhances recruiting, brand storytelling, fan engagement, and program visibility, and social media engagement.
This position is hands-on and fast-paced. Working and operating through War Eagle Creative, this role is assigned solely to and embedded within the daily operations of Auburn Football.
Salary is contract-based
Responsibilities
  • Assists in, and leads on a project basis, in the planning, filming, and editing of video content for:
    • Recruiting
    • Internal team initiatives•
    • Game-week hype and storytelling
    • Overarching program storytelling
    • Marketing, communication, and promotional campaigns
    • Miscellaneous videos for social media platforms
  • Capture high-quality video at practices, games, workouts, meetings, and team events
  • Edit short-form and long-form video content optimized for social platforms, videoboards, and internal use
  • Collaborate with the Director of Football Creative Video to ensure brand consistency and adherence to creative standards, in alignment with overarching Creative and External expectations
  • Work closely with the coaching staff, recruiting personnel, Athletics Communications, and the Creative Team to meet content needs and deadlines
  • Manage, organize, and archive video assets using established file management standards
  • Assist in the supervision, mentoring, and development of student workers and interns, when applicable
  • Support live and rapid-turn content needs during games, travel, recruiting, and otherevents
  • Travel, as necessary and assigned, to provide coverage and content for games andother events
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support football creative operations

Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree
  • And preferably 2 years working in college football / college athletics

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in collegiate or professional athletics
  • Familiarity with football operations, recruiting calendars, and in-season workflows
  • Experience working with student-athletes and coaching staff
  • Experience producing content for Instagram, X, TikTok, and YouTube
  • Knowledge of camera operation, lighting, audio capture, and basic motion graphics
  • Knowledge of 3D software and the ability to create 3D scenes and environments
