Job description

Job Responsibilities:
  • Routine lifting of 50 lb. bags throughout the day.
  • Labeling bags for production from the Production Schedule.
  • Assembling of raw materials outlined from daily batch sheets.
  • Selecting and weighing of raw material for processing lines. 
  • Load the staged pallets into the blender. 
  • Packaging, labeling, and palletizing (50 lb. bags) of finished products. 
  • Collecting finished product retention samples. 
  • Conducting weight check verifications and metal detector checks.
  • Documenting accurately required food quality and production information. 
  • Responsible for housekeeping, sanitation and GMP standards while strictly following outlined food and safety protocols. 
  • Responsible for recognizing and reporting food safety and/or quality issues to supervisor and/or manager. 
  • Participate in training for GMP’s, HACCP, and other facility & production related policies & procedures. 
  • Forklift Driving. 
  • Promote and strive to maintain a positive, supportive culture that is team-oriented, including being self-driven, reliable, motivated, detail oriented, accepting responsibility, completing assigned work, and participating in the work in a proactive manner. 
  • Performing all job functions/activities with a commitment to a strong quality and safety mindset while complying with all company policies, procedures, and food safety regulations.
