Compensation & Benefits:
Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000 (Based on Experience)

Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Safety Trainer to join our growing food manufacturing team. The Safety Trainer will be responsible for training employees on workplace safety, food safety procedures, OSHA regulations, GMP standards, sanitation practices, and company policies. This position plays a key role in maintaining a safe, compliant, and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct new hire orientation and safety training; ensure our Qualified Process is active, thorough, and effective
  • Train employees on OSHA regulations, GMPs, HACCP, PPE, Lockout/Tagout, Forklift safety, Sanitation procedures, Fall protection, MEWP training, Confined space, Electrical and Arc Flash training
  • Lead ongoing safety meetings and refresher training sessions
  • Maintain training records and compliance documentation
  • Perform safety audits and identify workplace hazards
  • Assist with incident investigations and corrective actions
  • Ensure employees follow company safety and food safety standards
  • Support continuous improvement and accident prevention programs
  • Work closely with supervisors, HR, quality assurance, and production teams

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required; Certificate/AA in OSH preferred
  • Previous manufacturing or food production experience preferred
  • Safety training and leadership experience required
  • Knowledge of OSHA, GMP, HACCP, and food safety regulations
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Multi-site operations experience preferred
  • Basic computer skills required
  • Ability to conduct hands-on and classroom training

Preferred Qualifications:
  • OSHA 10 & OSHA 30 certification
  • HACCP certification
  • Forklift trainer certification
  • First Aid/CPR certification
