Job description

Support the Military's Quality of Life programs! The Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) department of Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC) provides fitness, recreation, lodging and food and beverage programs for service members, their families, retired military and civilian employees. This position is assigned to the Non-Appropriated Fund (NAF) Fitness, Sports, and Deployed Support Branch; Fleet Readiness; Commander, Navy Installations command (CNIC); Naval Station Everett.Qualifications:Must be at least 16 years old.
Must possess a valid lifeguarding certification from a recognized agency or obtain it within 30 days of hire.
Must be able to pass a 250 yard timed swim test.
Must be able to communicate orally and in writing.

Must possess and maintain the following certifications:

  • Lifeguard Training Certification in accordance with CNICINST 1710.3;

  • CPR for the Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Providers

  • First Aid

  • Automated External Defibrillator Certification

  • Blood Borne Pathogens Training
