Employer: CD Okemos 10, LLC (dba Mugg amp;Bopps)
Department: Food Service Operations
Reports To: Multi-Unit Supervisor / Operations Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt (unless otherwise designated)
Position Summary
The Food Service Store Manager is responsible for overall performance of the food service operation, including product quality, guest satisfaction, staffing, training, food safety compliance, inventory control, and profitability.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead daily food service operations to achieve sales and profitability goals.
  • Hire, train, coach, and evaluate food service associates.
  • Develop schedules and manage labor costs according to budget and business needs.
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and health code requirements.
  • Maintain consistent product quality, recipe adherence, and portion control.
  • Oversee ordering, receiving, inventory rotation, and waste reduction.
  • Maintain accurate records including temperature logs, cleaning schedules, and audits.
  • Ensure cleanliness and equipment maintenance in all food service areas.
  • Resolve customer concerns and maintain high guest satisfaction.
  • Implement new menu items, promotions, and operational initiatives.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Strong leadership and team development skills.
  • Solid understanding of food safety, production planning, and quality control.
  • Ability to analyze sales and labor performance.
