Job description

Friendship Village is seeking a compassionate and energetic CNA to join our skilled nursing team that is responsible for assisting the licensed nursing staff by performing routine nursing duties and activities of daily living. This full-time 1st shift (7a-7p) position offers benefits, great staff-resident ratio, and teamwork with a starting pay of $19.00 per hour. Ready to jump into a role that matters? 

Here's a snapshot of what you'll be doing each day as a CNA:

  • Assists patients with dressing, grooming, eating, positioning, turning, toileting, and exercising.
  • Transfers, transports and escorts patients as needed.
  • Answers signal lights promptly

Got what it takes to shine in this role? Here are a few of the qualifications we are looking for: 

  • Successful completion from a State approved geriatric nursing assistant training program.
  • Prior geriatric care experience is preferred.
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicates effectively, and perform simple arithmetic.
