Position Title: Sr. Director of Dining Services (SR. DFNS)

Pay Grade: 16

Reports To: VPO

Position Overview

The Sr. Director of Dining Services is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day foodservice operations. Duties include managing a team of employees, building and maintaining client relationships, ensuring profitability of the account, and fostering talent development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate the department in accordance with the approved budget while providing maximum value for clients.
  • Ensure that the food offered is of superior quality.
  • Direct and conduct safety, sanitation, and maintenance programs.
  • Maintain excellent relationships with guests, clients, and other departments.
  • Promote the professional growth and development of the entire team.
  • Foster strong inter-departmental relations and integrate the dining service department with the facility plan of operations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of additional experience.
  • Minimum of five years of proven leadership experience.
  • Two to four years of direct foodservice operational management experience with inventory and purchasing knowledge and control.
  • Strong knowledge of food and catering trends focused on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.
  • Knowledge of P&L accountability and contract‑managed service experience is desirable.
  • ServSafe certification is a plus.
  • Must be forward‑thinking, proactive, and the face of the company.
