Production/Warehouse Manager
About NX Automotive Logistics USA, Inc. (NXAL)
NXAL operates in warehouse and manufacturing environments where conditions may include moderate dust, dirt, and odors from packaging materials and propane-powered forklifts. Noise levels vary due to production equipment, and temperatures fluctuate throughout the year. Supervisors frequently use computers, communicate via phone and in person, move within the facility, and may travel to other locations.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a safety-first work environment for all associates.​
  • Support department Supervisors and their 5S/COP assignments, participate in weekly audits, ensure countermeasures are taken to improve all job processes.​
  • Manage, prepare and present business plan activities and results.​
  • Assist in managing the manpower for specific department and perform space and equipment planning processes to ensure maximum efficiencies.​
  • Participate in weekly audits and ensure countermeasures are taken in place.​
  • Contribute to training and development of all associates within the department ​
  • Manage the effectiveness and implementation of corrective actions to all associates ​
  • Participate in the interviewing and evaluating process for potential team members within your specific department.​
  • Conduct performance evaluations of assistant managers and assigned supervisors.​
  • Contribute to developing an operating culture that promotes involvement, communication, expectations and accountability to ensure adherence to all company policies, ISO 9001 and 14001 Standards.
  • Perform any other job duties given by the Division/Senior Manager, when necessary, in order to meet company standards and company/customer needs/demands.
Qualifications
  • +5 years of previous management experience.​
  • Possess knowledge of material service, warehousing and transportation functions, and administrative software applications.​
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and leadership skills, including the ability to set goals, motivate, and manage conflict.
  • Strong analytical skills, strategic understanding of financial measurements, presentation, and ability to function and interact with a cross-functional team.
  • Good project management skills, including strong decision-making, problem-solving, and strategic planning abilities.
  • Ability to encourage and build mutual trust, respect and cooperation among team members
