Job description

Position Description:Partner with xPL fabrication facility ("plant") leadership and superintendents to execute safe, high-quality, and efficient production operations in alignment with plant goals and customer requirements. Lead daily production planning, workflow coordination, and team development for schedule adherence, maximize throughput, and establish zero-incident culture. Serve as key resource to engage teams to deliver consistent, reliable, and on-time fabrication output.

Essential Duties & Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, direct, and manage daily production activities of fabrication superintendents and instill adherence to safety, quality, and productivity standards./li>
  • Plan and coordinate manpower, equipment, and material resources to meet established production schedules and optimize workflow./li>
  • Drive proactive safety engagement in partnership with Safety team, including daily toolbox talks, hazard assessments, and incident prevention activities./li>
  • Collaborate with xPL Quality Control (QC) team to maintain first-pass quality and prevent rework, validating production meets specifications and customer requirements./li>
  • Monitor and analyze production performance metrics, including throughput, cycle time, downtime, and resource utilization; implement corrective actions to support performance./li>
  • Deliver and maintain communication with plant leadership to align short-term production needs with long-term capacity planning and capital investment strategies./li>
  • Support Superintendent team development through coaching, training, and performance management; foster culture of accountability and teamwork./li>
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Logistics, and Maintenance teams to resolve production constraints and maintain operational flow./li>
  • Oversee clean and organized production areas for compliance with safety and environmental regulations./li>
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in workflow efficiency, equipment utilization, and process standardization./li>
  • Facilitate pre-shift planning meetings with superintendents to review daily objectives, safety priorities, and quality expectations./li>
  • Participate in budget planning and cost control efforts related to production operations./li>
  • Support onboarding and training of new employees to ensure skill readiness and adherence to company standards./li>
  • Other activities, duties, and responsibilities as assigned.

Shift starts at 6:00pm to 4:00 am
